Operation in Kosovo, the Special Court arrests the former deputy prime minister

This morning started with developments in Kosovo, as the Special Court has carried out several operations and arrested several people. 

The Acting Chairman of the Organization of Veterans of the War of the Liberation Army of Kosovo (OVL-UÇK), Faton Klinaku, initially told Telegraph that the former chairman of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), Bashkim Smakaj, and former - Deputy Prime Minister, Hajredin Kuçi.

Then, in another statement, he emphasized that only Hajredin Kuçi's house was raided.

Otherwise, the former mayor of Malisheva Municipality, Isni Kilaj, as well as the brother of the heroes Fahri and Bahri Fazliu, Fadil Fazliu, were detained today.

Otherwise, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office (SPO) announced through a media release that they are conducting ongoing operations in Kosovo in an investigative process that focuses on criminal offenses against the administration of justice.

According to the announcement, SPS operations have been judicially authorized by the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo (DHSK) and supported by the European Union Mission for the Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX).
