Washington Examiner 'unravels' behind the scenes: How Soros-funded SPAK imprisoned Sali Berisha without any charges

Washington Examiner 'unravels' behind the scenes: How Soros-funded

The prestigious American Washington Examiner has published a documentary focusing on Prime Minister Edi Rama and his connections with George Soros, who, through political prosecutors, engineered the declaration of the leader of the opposition Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, as 'person non grata'.

Through successive facts and developments, the renowned American journalist of the Washington Examiner, Tiana Lowe Doescher, has shown how Rama, through the Soros Foundation and the American radical left, persecuted the opposition and declared Sali Berisha 'non grata', using SPAK funded by Soros.

Documentary:

Although Prime Minister Edi Rama and his Socialist Party had led Albania’s government since 2013, Biden and his allies, both inside and outside the White House, have been trying for years to sanction the leader of Albania’s conservative opposition, remove him from political life, and ultimately prosecute and imprison former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Although, surprisingly, the process did not happen this time.

And when pressed by the United States Congress, Secretary of State Antony Blinken had no answer.

'You recently announced sanctions against former Albanian President Sali Berisha. For many, this decision came out of nowhere. What specific information can you share with the committee at this time that justifies this dramatic move?', would be the question posed by Congressman Lee Zeldin, to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in June 2021.

To this question came Blinken's response: In this case, the matter proceeded through the normal process involving our lawyers. And if it's helpful, I'd be happy to share with you exactly what was involved in the matter.

While the Foreign Policy Editor at the Washington Examiner, Tom Rogan, would say: 'The question remains as to why the State Department has promoted, essentially, pro-Soros foreign policy, given the stance that Albania and the State Department have taken against Mr. Berisha.'

Although Albania underwent nearly half a century of communist rule like the rest of its neighbors when the Iron Curtain fell, Albania's dictatorship proved to be remarkably isolated compared to the rest of the Eastern Bloc.

Democratic revolutionaries like Berisha and his allies, belonging to what is now known as the Democratic Party of Albania, made the country the last to be liberated at the end of the Cold War.

But with Rama's Socialist Party back in power for more than a decade now, Albania maintains the lowest GDP per capita of any other NATO member, while becoming the leading trafficker of illegal drugs across Europe. A drug trade to which Rama has been closely linked.

'The State Department, essentially the Biden administration, has turned a blind eye to Edi Rama, who is at the head of a narco-state,' Rogan says in his statement.

The transformation of Albania into what Bill describes as Europe's leading autocratic narco-state is not a consequence but the success of America's intervention in the country and the positioning of the State Department close to George and Alexander Soros.

In an echo of the weaponization of the American legal system we would see used against Donald Trump, both the Obama Administration and the Soros family's Open Society Foundations undertook justice reform in Albania in 2015. With American taxpayers allocating millions of dollars to fund a new puppet justice system in Albania.

'We have before us this strange connection, as they call each other "brother from another mother" between Alex Soros and Prime Minister Rama. And yes, Soros' people have a lot of control in Albania. Why is Alex Soros visiting Albania several times a year?', said John Schindler, former intelligence analyst at the US National Security Agency.

The Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime, or SPAK court, was officially established in 2019. And with the support of the Biden Administration, Rama's government has managed to subject all three of the country's opposition leaders to criminal investigations or prosecutions.

The main target of this campaign was Berisha. Without producing any criminal charges against Berisha, the Soros-funded SPAK imprisoned Berisha under house arrest for 333 days. But it was not Rama who initiated criminal proceedings against his domestic opponent, it was Biden’s Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, who legally declared Berisha persona non grata in 2021, without even a hint of a real criminal charge.

Why did American taxpayers fund the illegal attack on Albania’s democratic opposition? The Washington Examiner traveled to the other side of the globe to speak with the man the U.S. government tried and failed to silence. This is the story of Sali Berisha, in his own words.
