Onur Sener, a musician who worked in a bar in the Turkish capital, Ankara, has been killed by three people with whom he argued on the grounds that he did not know the song they requested.
The argument started after Sener said he didn't know the song and then turned into a physical fight that ended after staff and patrons intervened. With the notification of citizens who witnessed the event, the police went to the scene. Sener, who was seriously injured by pieces of glass in his throat, died in hospital.
Ankara Police Department teams arrested three suspects in connection with the incident.
After the murder of the musician, who participated in a television competition titled "O Ses Türkiye" (the Turkish version of "The Voice") in 2013, many messages of condolence were posted by famous artists of Turkey.
