A serious event happened today in Cetinje, Montenegro. According to reports in the Montenegrin media, a person opened fire killing at least 10 people, and then committed suicide.
According to the first suspicions, the author of the event, a 34-year-old man, killed his family and then went out into the street, opening fire on citizens. Children are suspected to be among the victims.
Several other people were injured by the gun attack and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The senior state prosecutor, the emergency services, the police and the Protection and Rescue Service are on the scene. The motives of the serious event, in the city that is mainly inhabited by Serb-Montenegrins, are still unclear.
