Is immunity lost after the second dose of Pfizer? Virologist: Do not be afraid!

Vaccination against Covid-19 with Pfizer has also been associated with suspicion. Some rumors claimed that after receiving the second dose of the vaccine, immunity began to weaken. According to CNN, taking both doses of Pfizer created a strong immunity and an effective response of up to 90%.

Viral respiratory disease specialist Dr Ann Falsey said people should not worry about losing immunity.

"I think we expect immunity to weaken slowly over time, but this is not a reason for people to panic," specialist. "It's not like suddenly one day you're completely vulnerable as before vaccination."

Falsey claimed Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, are all for serious illnesses.

"Now, this does not mean that we can not finally reach a point where we really need people to take stimulants to prevent more serious illness. But, really, most progressive infections are colds, perhaps flu-like illnesses — not the scary illnesses we faced before. So my main message is, do not be afraid. You will be fine, " Falsey said.

A study from Israel covered 4,800 healthcare workers and showed that antibody levels dropped rapidly after two doses of the vaccine, "especially among men, among people 65 and older, and among people with immunosuppression."

A second study from Qatar showed that protection from the Pfizer vaccine peaked in the first month after vaccination and then begins to fade.
