The board decides / How much oil will cost, the price of gas rises again

The Transparency Board has set the new fuel price. Starting today, oil will cost 237 lek per liter until March 31, from 245 lek that was until today.

While gasoline will cost 211 ALL per liter. The price of gas has increased for the second time in a row and will cost 116 ALL per liter.

The board will meet again on March 31 to set new prices for the following days. We remind you that today the protests against the price increase in front of the Prime Minister's Office return at 17.00.

The Transparency Board convened on March 29, 2022 set new retail and wholesale fuel prices for the domestic market. These prices reflect the changes that have occurred in international markets.

Based on the above, the Transparency Board set up by government decision, in order to temporarily limit wholesale / retail trade prices, based on the methodology of price construction according to Article 21/5 of the Normative Act, decided:

The wholesale price of the diesel by-product will be 225 ALL / liter and the gasoline by-product will be 199 ALL / liter for the period March 29-March 31, 2022

Retail price of diesel by-product of standard SSH EN 590 for the period March 29 - March 31, 2022, to be 237 ALL / liter.

The retail price of the gasoline by-product of the standard SSH EN 228 for the period March 29- March 31, 2022, to be 211 ALL / liter.

The retail price of the gas by-product for the period March 29-March 31, 2022, to be 116 ALL / liter and wholesale 104 ALL / liter.

The decision of the Board enters into force and will be reflected on March 29, while the next meeting will be on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in order to reflect in the retail price of these by-products, of possible price changes in international markets.
