The opposition protest held in front of the prime minister's office on the "Martyrs of the nation" boulevard in Tirana has ended.

The MPs and citizens gathered at 17:30 have already left, while a cordon of police and FNSH officers stood in front of the building, waiting for all the protest participants to leave.

The protest was peaceful, except for a moment when after the end of the online speech of the head of PD, Sali Berisha, some citizens threw cigarette butts and Molotov cocktails in the direction of the prime minister, causing small fires.

After this incident, it is learned that several people were escorted by the police.
