Kidnapping of 3 KSF members, Kurti convenes the Security Council tomorrow

The Government of Kosovo will convene the Security Council tomorrow at 07:00, after the kidnapping of three members of the Kosovo Police by Serbian forces.

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the Security Council will be called to discuss the next steps after these developments.

KFOR forces, as well as the Minister of the Interior, Xelal Sveçla, came to the scene.

So, the Kosovo Police said today that three of its members were arrested by the Serbian authorities near the border with Serbia.

The Kosovo Police said that NATO peacekeeping forces have been informed and are handling the case.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, wrote on social networks that "the abduction of three police officers within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo is aggression on the part of Serbia.

On the other hand, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that "the entry of Serbian forces into the territory of Kosovo is aggression and an aim for escalation and destabilization".
