Part of the group that trafficked 8.1 tons of drugs, surrenders to the police,

Nazmi Shahini alias Drazhi, one of the persons wanted by SPAK as part of an investigation into a structured criminal group and international drug trafficking, surrenders to the police.

It is learned that Shahini presented himself to the police, after the Special Court had imposed the security measure "prison arrest" on him in absentia.

According to SPAK, he is suspected of being part of a criminal group that operated during 2020-2021 and that trafficked a total of about 8.1 tons of cocaine and cannabis.

According to investigations, the drugs were obtained from Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Spain and Morocco and then transported to Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and other European countries.
