The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group has addressed the Speaker of the Assembly and the Secretariat for Procedures, Voting and Ethics with a request to take a disciplinary measure against the MP of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj, as well as to refer the case to SPAK.

The request comes after the incident recorded today in the Parliament premises, where Shehaj forcibly took a copy of the loan agreement with the United States for military equipment and ran away. 

According to the Socialists, the deputies were informed that the document could only be consulted in the "Gerti Bogdani" room, after signing a confidentiality declaration, and that copies were not allowed outside the designated premises.

In the request addressed to the institutions of the Assembly, the Socialist Party states that Agron Shehaj has refused the instructions of the staff, has taken the document by force and has left the premises of the Parliament. The Socialists also add that an Assembly advisor, who tried to stop the MP and take back the document, has fallen down the stairs and has suffered injuries.

 "MP Agron Shehaj, with his repeated violent and aggressive behavior, has put at risk the councilor who was found defenseless in the face of this violent and unacceptable behavior. These behaviors seriously and intolerably violate the safety of the Assembly staff during the exercise of their duties. The MP's behavior by forcibly taking and taking out of the hall the classified document constitutes a serious violation of the legislation on classified information ," the request states.
