Activist Gent Progni has reported that during today's protest he was threatened with his life by a person in civilian clothes, whom he suspects was an off-duty police officer.

In a statement to the media, Progni said that the incident occurred while he was filming several civilians who were in a bar near the area where the protest was taking place. According to him, one of them approached him after seeing him filming and then pulled a knife out of his pocket.

"I will file a public report. I was threatened with my life today by a civilian, whom I also have a photo of, he pulled out a knife and tried to hit me. I believe he is a civilian police officer," declared Progni.
The activist said that after the incident, several police officers intervened, adding that they were heard shouting: "Don't hit the police officers."

Progni stated that he will file a report of intimidation with the relevant institutions, also requesting verification of security cameras in the area where, according to him, the incident occurred.

Later, the activist also published a photo on social media of a person he claims is the individual who attempted to stab him.
