58th protest, citizens return to the Parliament in the last session

The last session of the Parliament is expected to be accompanied by another citizen protest this Monday, following the revolt that has entered its 58th day.

Organizers have called on citizens to gather at 08:00 in front of the Parliament building to demand the resignation of the Rama government.

The rally comes after the July 23 protest, where there were numerous clashes and incidents, with protesters and activists being escorted and assaulted by the police.

A significant presence of blue uniforms and reinforced security measures are expected in the area around Parliament this Monday as well.

The protest takes place on the day when the Assembly is expected to close its parliamentary session, while the organizers have warned that the civic action will continue in the coming days.
