Kim Kardashian will receive the fashion icon award at the "2021 People's Choice Awards" to be held on December 7, announced NBC and E! Tuesday.

According to a press release from the networks, the 41-year-old founder of Skims is being honored for her “sharp sense of fashion, unprecedented entrepreneurial success and the unique transformation of the fashion industry through her innovative models and trendy style in the past ”.

Ever since she first debuted on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" on Channel E !, which premiered in 2007 and aired her last season this year, Kardashian has shared her television popularity in a billion dollar business empire.

In addition to her clothing company "Skims", Kim has recently collaborated with "Fendi", she also oversees two cosmetic brands, KKË Fragrance and KKW Beauty.

"For almost two decades, the evolution of Kim Kardashian West style has disrupted and influenced trends globally and has given the impact of a force to be reckoned with within the fashion industry," said Jen Neal.
