Today is the night of Qadr, what we need to know about one of the holiest nights

Today is the night of Qadr and according to the Islamic religion, fasting on this day is considered valid as a thousand months. For this reason the number of people who fast today is much greater than those who fast during the month of Ramadan.

But why is the night of Qadr worth a thousand months?

Laylat al-Qadr marks the revelation of the Qur'an on earth and the beginning of the writing of the holy book. According to the clergy, fasting and praying to God on this day determine a person's destiny and life during a year. It is thought that there are thousands, not just Muslim believers, who fast on the day of Qadr.

By the permission of their Lord on the Night of Power it is said that angels and the spirit (Gabriel) descend for every matter. That (which God ordains) is peace until dawn. Muslims believe that the Qur'an was revealed on the night of Qadr to Muhammad by Allah.

Signs of the Night of Honor

This night so important in Islam, has its signs, which are not noticed, only after the new day has been born. Among these signs is that the sun of the day that follows the night of Qadr, rises without rays, or is red and dimly lit. Another sign that is said, is the light rain that can fall on the night of Qadr, the wind and that that night, it is open, neither hot nor cold.

All these signs are not cut and do not reach the degree of complete security. They can be found or not, depending on the country and the season. There are Muslim places where it rains incessantly, others where it does not rain for years, others that suffer from the cold and others that suffer from the heat.
