The government has decided to increase the fund for the promotion of tourism in Albania. By a decision of the Council of Ministers, the government has added a fund of 100 million ALL to the "Tourism Development" program.

The country will be promoted as a "Covid-free" host destination. The fund will be covered by the reserve fund of the state budget set for this year.

This decision comes on the eve of the tourist season and the government has indicated that summer will be eased in terms of restrictions within the pandemic.
