DP deputies rejected "April 30", but the Assembly returned 20 former deputies and 6 former ministers

Sali Berisha failed to convince the majority of the parliamentary group to be present in the Assembly on April 30, but this did not prevent the Assembly delegates from bringing back to the political forums of the DP full of 20 former deputies.

Among the names of the 150 members of the DP National Council are many of the MPs who took office in 2013, a time when the DP came out in opposition after 8 years in power. Thus, among the names of former MPs, Ardian Turku, Bedri Hoxha, Elena Qirici, Gent Strazimiri, Keltis Kruja, Mimoza Hajdarmataj or even Voltana Ademi stand out.

After a strong split with Basha and departures from the Democratic Party, the former Secretary Arben Ristani and the two expelled former MPs Myslim Murrizi and Rudina Hajdari were mandated as members of the National Council in the Assembly on April 30.

There will also be 6 former PD ministers in the PD National Council. The return of Arben Imami has been announced since the by-elections on March 6, when the latter took over the responsibility of the campaign leader of the elected mayor, Bardh Spahia.

But also former ministers Genc Pollo, Aldo Bumçi, Myqerem Tafaj, Arben Beqiri and Florjon Mima will be part of one of the highest decision-making bodies of the DP. Artists will not be absent from PD political forums.

Raimonda Bulku, Renis Gjoka, Bujar Kapexhiu, Julian Deda, Robert Budina, Osman Mula are the names that make the difference and are expected to give their contribution to the Department of Culture in the DP.

But they will be part of the National Council directly and permanently due to the duties they have held as former presidents, former parliamentary speakers or former PD leaders Bujar Nishani, Jozefina Topalli, Tritan Shehu, and Eduard Selami.

After the election, members of the DP National Council are expected to gather to elect the party's vice-chairmen, secretaries and the new head of the National Council, while on May 22, the Democrats will elect the new DP chairman through a one-member principle.
