Diaspora 'destroyed' the Prime Minister's theater, Berisha: Rama

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke at a media conference today and harshly accused Prime Minister Edi Rama, calling him "the most vicious enemy of the Albanian nation after Enver Hoxha."

In his statement, Berisha focused particularly on the prime minister's meeting with Albanians in the diaspora, accusing Rama of positions and policies that, according to him, were detrimental to the national interest and Albania's Western orientation.

"Edi Rama is a fierce enemy of the national interest, of the Western vocation and of the very existence of Albanians as a nation," Berisha said.

He also accused the prime minister of corruption and mismanagement of public funds, calling him "the biggest thief of all time."

Following the statement, Berisha focused on regional relations and Albania's policies in the Western Balkans, criticizing the "Open Balkans" initiative, which he called a project that, according to him, favored Serbia's hegemony in the region and violated Kosovo's interests.

He also accused Rama of wrong positions towards Kosovo, including, according to him, initiatives and statements that have negatively affected relations between the two countries and the region's European integration processes.

Berisha also mentioned the issue of sanctions against Russia and developments after the war in Ukraine, claiming that the Albanian government's positions have been inappropriate in relation to Western allies.

PART OF SPEAK

Dear citizens.
I am here today to declare the following on behalf of the Democratic Party.
Today, at the meeting with Albanians in the diaspora, Edi Rama, the fiercest enemy of the Albanian nation after Enver Hoxha, took the floor.
He is a fierce enemy of the national interest, of the Western vocation and of the very existence of Albanians as a nation.
At the same time, he is also the greatest thief of all time of the public funds and assets of this country.
One of the most prominent analysts in Europe has called Edi Rama for the services he has rendered to Serbia the best prime minister of this country after Nikola Pashič. It is so true that, it is so true that after Enver Hoxha, who proudly declared that we left Kosovo to the Serbs, Edi Rama in these years of power, is the greatest traitor to Kosovo and the Albanian nation.
Immediately after coming to power, Edi Rama, as Vučić's hired hand, was directly involved in the project of changing the borders and dividing Kosovo. After the failure of this anti-Albanian project, he, together with his patron Vučić and their tool Zajev, established at the Novi Sad summit, the Balkan Mini-Schengen or Open Balkans. On the official map of this trilateral alliance Belgrade-Tirana-Skopje, the Republic of Kosovo appeared fully integrated within the map of Greater Serbia. This alliance, which de facto and de jure sanctioned Serbia's political and economic hegemony in the region, the return in a way of a mini-Yugoslavia dominated by Serbia, was openly and strongly supported by Sergey Lavrov and ended up in the dustbin of history's shame after being rejected by other countries in the region and the European Union.
Edi Rama publicly became the most shameless, most zealous advocate of Aleksandar Vučić and Little Russia in the Balkans after the Russian aggression in Ukraine. While the European Union and NATO imposed sanctions on Russia, Edi Rama went from summit to summit, removing every mask and insisting that Serbia, his patron Vučić, should not be asked to implement sanctions against Russia, with the absurd argument that Belgrade cannot implement them, and that it is better not to be asked and not to implement them. Further, without any tag, he took over the project of the Association of Serbian Municipalities, which aimed at the return of the Serbian state to large territories of Kosovo and the annihilation of its independence.
Edi Rama received this project directly signed by his patron, Aleksandar Vučić.
Edi Rama proved to be a fierce enemy of the Albanians of Kosovo. Perhaps he would be the first in Europe to propose and impose sanctions against the government and the Republic of Kosovo. Declaring and declaring that northern Kosovo is no man's land and that Kosovo was in danger of returning to the Bronze Age, he later publicly demanded and openly lobbied for the European Union not to lift visas for Kosovo Albanians, even after the decision had been made.
The Belgrade puppet entered world history as the first prime minister to file a lawsuit in court against the prime minister of another country, as in this case, against Ramush Haradinaj, the prime minister of Kosovo, and solely because the latter defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of his country from the Rama-Vučić plans.
Even after the terrorist act in Banjska, instead of strongly condemning the Belgrade phalanges, Rama immediately demanded, within an hour, an international conference on Kosovo, thus attempting to include Russia at the table alongside Aleksandar Vučić and against the interests of Albanians in Kosovo and the region. He did not find a single word to comfort the words of the martyr of the land who fell in Banjska in defense of the territory of Kosovo.
Finally, Edi Rama can be declared the Emeritus Pašić of Serbia, since in his policies he has even surpassed Vaso Čubrillović's platform for the expulsion of Albanians from Albania. The figures are alarming. From 2015 to 2024, 1,990,000 Albanians have left the Schengen area alone. Together with emigrants in other countries, they are about 45% of the population that has left the country. Meanwhile, in the years 2007-2014, the number of Albanians in Albania increased every year.
Edi Rama is an enemy of the freedom of Albanians, because according to all international documents and reports, he built the first and only narco-state in Europe for the interests of his power in Albania, thus stigmatizing Albania and the Albanian nation. By linking himself with drug cartels, he turned the electoral process into an electoral farce, destroyed the rule of law and finally, with the shield against his thefts and those of his associates and family members, he is closing the doors of Albania's integration into the European Union.
Thank you!
