The head of the Freedom Party in Lezhë, Petrit Gjoni, resigns

The head of the Freedom Party in Lezhë Petrit Gjoni has resigned.

In a post on social networks, Gjoni emphasizes that he is simultaneously open to cooperate with any political force or individual who convinces him about the future not only of himself but also of society.

Hello ! I want to share with my friends a personal decision that I have made in the political aspect. Having consulted well, first with myself, my family, friends and friends who love me, I have decided to resign as Chairman of the Freedom Party The Lezhë branch and any political position related to PL. This comes more as my personal reason.

Much respect for my supporters, for my colleagues at the base and at the center, for the political leaders of PL and the former LSI at the center. Respect for them. Maybe it's not the right moment for me to leave, but PL is open and others more pious and organized than me can come and maybe it's not their fault that I'm leaving, but I see it as reasonable to do so .

From this moment I feel free in my accounts, without any kind of political obligation to anyone, and at the same time open to cooperate with any political force or individual who convinces me about the future not only of mine but also of society, even with a simple vote that I can have. I also ask for understanding for those who may prejudice me. I have tried to give my best in every task or political position that I have been entrusted with or appreciated, without being sold, bought, or negotiated...

And once again: Gratitude to every person who has appreciated me all these years and I will be in your support wherever I am. Gratitude to my family circle, my parents, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, cousins, the social and friendly circle of my family, my wife Flutura who has always stood by me and with care. I am confident that they will continue to support me, as I think we have more to give in politics and society, always consulting with them.' - John writes.
