"Linda Rama's Palace/ Malltezi: 12 years without an answer from Rama,

After 12 years, Edi Rama still has not given an answer for the construction permit of the 5-story building owned by his wife, Linda Rama, an issue that has sparked many debates and accusations of violation of the law. The member of the National Council in the Democratic Party, Jamarbër Malltezi, has brought this case back to attention, describing it as a theft that has remained without consequence for 12 years.

Malltezi has posted on social networks a video and a message in which he makes strong accusations against the prime minister, emphasizing that when the ILDKP (High Inspectorate of Declaration and Control of Wealth) started investigations into the palace, he fired the head of the ILDKP. He also points out that Rama uses SPAK as a "toilet paper" to protect himself.

In 2012, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana closed the investigations for the permission to build a 4-storey building located in the area of the Directorate of Hygiene, a project that was linked to the Prime Minister's wife. The investigation was stopped on the grounds that there is no evidence of criminal offenses and that the construction permit was granted in compliance with the urban planning law.

This issue has aroused many reactions in the public opinion, while the question about the transparency and legality of the construction permits granted by Ramë continues to remain unanswered.
