Prosecutor Altin Dumani has submitted the request to run as head of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).

Dumani is the third candidate after Edvin Kondil and Adnan Xholi.

Altin Dumani was the prosecutor who sent behind the bars the judge of Kruja, Enkeleda Hoxha, otherwise known as the judge who released the 'strong' from the cell.

Duman is the first to lead the Task Force unit to fight white collar crime. He has a career spanning over 20 years as a prosecutor. In 200 he became the head of the prosecution in Tropoja for the first time.

Dumani became known for the attitude he took towards the 29 defendants of the Gërdec tragedy and the life sentence he demanded for the main defendants.
