A serious road accident claimed the life of a 43-year-old man in Lushnje during the early hours of the morning.

The victim has been identified as Ernis Xhumari, who died at the scene as a result of the collision of the vehicle he was driving in the roundabout area known as "Plasmasi".

According to preliminary information, the "Benz" type vehicle was moving at high speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle initially hit the curb of the roundabout, then collided with a lighting pole and ended up several dozen meters away.

Due to the great force of the collision, the 43-year-old was unable to survive, dying at the scene.

Police immediately arrived at the scene and have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
