The Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, stated that Albanians in Thessaloniki are rejecting the Diaspora Summit, describing it as a propaganda activity by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to him, the diaspora seeks concrete solutions to real problems, while the government offers ceremony and facade. Boçi emphasizes that this refusal shows that Albanians abroad no longer accept being used for political purposes.
