Monday with good weather, the week continues with rain and storms

For the week ahead, our country is predicted to be affected by unstable atmospheric conditions due to the penetration of a deep area with low atmospheric pressure positioned over the Mediterranean Sea to the north of the African continent and one over the Apennine Peninsula.

A temporary improvement in atmospheric conditions is expected on Monday. The weather is expected to be alternating between clear and increasing clouds after the afternoon hours.

On Tuesday, deterioration of atmospheric conditions is expected. The weather is expected to be cloudy with intervals of clearing. The clouds are expected to be followed by continuous low-intensity rain in the early hours of the day in most of the territory. From noon along the Western Lowlands, the rains are expected to be continuous with medium intensity in the form of thunderstorms accompanied from time to time with electrical discharges and locally hail, in the mountain reliefs above 800-1000m, snowfalls with low and locally medium intensity are expected. In the afternoon, the intensity of the rain decreases.

Then in the following days, the weather is predicted to be alternating between cloudy and clear as well as rain with low intensity. A gradual increase in temperatures is expected.
