State Matura starts today, high school graduates take the foreign language exam

Thousands of high school graduates across Albania will head to testing centers today to take the first State Matura 2026 exam, the foreign language exam.

The exam marks the official start of the matura process for this year, an important milestone for students completing secondary education and aiming to continue their higher education.

According to the established rules, high school graduates must be present at the school premises before the start of the testing, while the exam will take place in the morning and will last two and a half hours.

Educational authorities have recalled the measures that must be respected during the exam, warning of the ban on any electronic device, including mobile phones, smartwatches and other tools that can be used for communication or access to artificial intelligence technologies.

The Ministry of Education has called on high school graduates to respect the regulations and show up on time, with the necessary identification documents, to avoid any problems during the testing process.
