Albanian Evangjeli Veli is declared European champion in weightlifting

Albanian weightlifter Evangjelia Veli has been declared European Champion in the detachment style for weight up to 55 kg at the European Weightlifting Championship that is taking place in the Albanian capital, Tirana.
The Albanian weightlifter won gold medals in freestyle and doubles (208 kg), while in pushing she won a silver medal. Veli lifted 95 kg in the detachment and was ranked first, while in the dive he initially played with 108 kg, lifting it safe.
Kamila Konotop and Nina Sterck then lifted 94 kg and the Albanian weightlifter responded, lifting 95 kg, which secured her the gold medal in detachment, while leaving behind with one kilogram less Konotop of Ukraine and Sterck of Belgium.
This is the first time that happens for an Albanian athlete.
