The protest of Thumana residents gets tense, the police throw tear gas

The residents of Thumana protested again to demand the opening of the road.

The situation between them and the police officers has become tense, causing the latter to use tear gas against the residents.

Initially, the police threw water and then tear gas to stop the residents' protest. Residents were injured by the gas, including children.

Citizens express their dissatisfaction towards the police officers, who according to them, by order of the government, seek to stop them from demanding their rights.

"We do our work, these people, we have no reason to conflict. Let them pave the way, we make the payment. Why should I waste an hour getting home? I have no intention of fighting with those who brought us. I can pay the beam, I have done it in Spain and everywhere. I have the ticket to England, but I have my brother, my sister, my people. Let them give him a solution, I have no intention of clashing with the Police" , said the citizen.
