KosovaPress has contacted the spokesman of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Branislav Radovic, about the entry of Serbian flags in the territory of Kosovo, but he said in his response over the phone that "I do not have such information."

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, after a meeting with Serbian heads of state the day before in Belgrade, through a press conference, announced the holiday which will be celebrated every September 15 in the Serb-populated provinces.

"We have decided on a new state holiday which we will implement in action. "This is the day of Serbian unity, freedom and the national flag, which will be celebrated together in Serbia, the Republika Srpska and in all Serbian areas around the world," Vucic said.
