5 medical centers in Ferizaj villages closed, partly due to power shortage

The year 2025 has begun with challenges for the citizens of Ferizaj, who have faced a lack of electricity in several areas, including some family medicine centers.

Five medical centers in the villages of Gaçka, Varosh, Llozaj and others have been closed, leaving residents without basic health services.

The Director of Health in Ferizaj has stated that the closure was due to a lack of medical staff, reports Klankosova.tv.

This situation worsened after the termination of the contract between the Municipality of Ferizaj and the Caritas Kosova organization, which employed hundreds of doctors and nurses.

As a result, not only village centers, but also the main ones have been left with a lack of staff.

In addition, the family medicine center in the village of Dardani has not been functioning for several days due to a lack of electricity.
