First Lady Jill Biden is not afraid to defend her husband!

According to a newly released report, Jill had some harsh words for White House staffers earlier this year, berating them for not interrupting a record-breaking two-hour press conference in which her husband her, President Joe Biden, touched on several topics, ranging from Covid-19 to the United States' relationship with Russia amid the conflict with Ukraine.

"She pointedly asked the group, which included the president, why no one stepped in to stop her, according to a person in the room," New York Times White House correspondent Katie Rogers recounted of the Jan. 19 incident. "Where was the person, she asked, who was supposed to end the press conference?"

Although then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki allegedly signaled for the president to end the briefing, he continued to answer questions.

However, this is not the only instance in which Jill, who is very protective of her husband, has apparently taken an active role in Joe's administration. In September, the First Lady spoke about the uncertain future of her husband's political career, revealing that they have yet to discuss whether he will run for the White House again in 2024.
