 The former president and former prime minister of Montenegro for a long time may be arrested in the coming days.

Croatian newspaper Jutarnji list claims to have received information from well-informed sources in Podgorica that the state prosecutor's office, "which is now under the control of the ruling pro-Serb coalition, is preparing this arrest after allegedly reaching a deal with the extradited businessman recently from Great Britain, Dushko Knezhević, who allegedly agreed to cooperate and be a remorseful protected witness".

"The representatives of the radical pro-Serbo-Russian option, Milan Knezhević and the Chetnik, Andrija Mandić, now in the position of the Speaker of the Assembly, repeatedly promised in their pre-election appearances that they would "send Djukanović behind bars", and now that they have the power of fully in their hands, it is possible that they have decided to take that step ," the newspaper points out.

We remind you that Milo Gjukanovic no longer holds any political office; lost the presidential elections and left the leadership post of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), which was the governing structure in Montenegro for more than 30 years.
