A 41-year-old woman fell to her death during the zipline in Italy (Emri)

An accident took the life of a 41-year-old woman, after the straps that held her in the "zipline" cable from where she was sliding in the Bitto park in the north of Italy broke.

It is about Ghizlane Moutahir, who died after falling from a height of 20 meters near Lake Como, in Italy.

The media wrote that the 41-year-old woman was at the end of her rapid descent of about 1.5 km long, but witnesses said that she started to show problems and then fell from the straps that were holding her. Also, groups of doctors rushed to give him first aid at the scene, but it was impossible to save him, while the prosecution said that it has opened an investigation.

Moutahir's two nieces, who had just finished their descent on the same line, were filming their aunt gliding at around 100 km per hour. Also, hundreds of people were yesterday in the "Fly Emotion" park, opened in 2011, which is one of the main tourist attractions of the area.

The zipline is one of the most frequented attractions in the valley that includes Albaredo, San Marco and Bema. Moutahir was traveling on the section between Albaredo and Bema, and had almost reached the arrival point where he suffered the fatal fall.

"Investigations revealed that Moutahir had stopped shortly before reaching the end of the 'zipline', when he started to move and his legs were sticking out. This caused her to lose her balance and fall from the device she was holding, dying on the spot. "It is also possible that she had a panic episode or some unexpected medical condition, and we are awaiting the results of the autopsy," the police said.

Moutahir was of Moroccan origin and lived in the neighboring town of Sant'Angelo Lodigiano. She had come with her family to the park while her husband Michele had come with an emergency when he learned about the accident.
