Socialist MP Sara Mila has accused the opposition of not wanting Albania to be integrated into the European Union by Rama.

Invited to A2 CNN, Mila referred to the integration process and said that, according to her, it has not been blocked as claimed. 

"They are trying hard to cling to a political cause, because they do not want in any way that 2030 will be the year when Albania joins the EU. I cannot say and I do not want to say that they do not want the EU, but I think that they do not want Prime Minister Rama and the Socialist Party to make this dream possible. They are throwing mud at the justice reform. Mainly on the justice reform process, on the accusations that they make without any facts or evidence, they are simply political accusations, which the EU does not consider, in their reports", said Mila.

We recall that it was Mila's SP itself that led to the blocking of the process by voting to reject SPAK's request for the arrest of Belinda Balluku. The majority's decision brought about a reversal in Brussels, which decided to keep the adoption of the IBAR report, a key step in closing the negotiation chapters, blocked.
