Minister of the Interior: Russian propaganda in Albania is done in the Serbian

The Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, has raised the alarm that disinformation through online media influenced by Russian propaganda has managed to penetrate as far as Albania. During the reporting to the Commission against disinformation, directed by the socialist deputy, Erion Braçe, Hoxha said that 90% of Russian propaganda and these campaigns are done in the Serbian language.

It should be emphasized that Albania is less affected and less influenced by this hybrid campaign of Russia and its satellites in the region. Recently, it is estimated that portals in the Albanian language have been added to the Russian disinformation infrastructure in the region. These continue to have a limited visibility and readability and a small number of clicks", said Hoxha.

"Albania, as a country interdependent on economic, regional and global developments and being a member of NATO and a candidate for the EU, considers the ability to prevent, counter and respond to hybrid attacks as a major priority in order to maintain order and national security, social cohesion and guaranteeing the continuity of all national security services ", added Hoxha.
