The candidate of the Democratic Party who emerged from the primaries for the Municipality of Elbasan, Luciano Boçi, has denounced the deplorable situation faced by the parents of the Papër-Sollak area in order to send their children to school.
While posting a video on Facebook, Boçi writes that this is moral irresponsibility.
" These views coming from the area of Papër-Sollak in Elbasan are shocking!
On rainy days, parents kiss and hug their children who "play" with life, to cross the raging waters! Can this be called a sacrifice for education? For those kids, of course it does.
But in fact, this is beyond political irresponsibility! This is moral irresponsibility! How can they have the courage to go out and meet people? How are they not ashamed to promise to do better?
Commitment is simple! Never again will these children have to cross the course of the river in this way. Never again, parents will pray for their children to return safely home from school!", writes Boçi.
