'Kim replaced, Blinken 'non grata' in the US'/ Berisha: I

DP leader Sali Berisha commented on the decision to replace former US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim, as Deputy Secretary of State for Eurasia.

Invited to Syri TV, Berisha expressed that he feels satisfied with these developments, even with the decision of US President Donald Trump to designate Antony Blinken as persona non grata in American institutions.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Peka: It's now official Yuri Kim has been replaced by Ander Stow, who is Deputy Secretary of State for Eurasia.

Berisha : She should go to justice. Then I say that is the solution. She has committed acts of corruption in Albania that I have spoken about publicly. I have very strong evidence for the authorities if they want to investigate her. What I told her was 100% fact-based and documented.

Peka: Two ambassadors who drafted your dossier leave the diplomatic system in the US, Sali Berisha legally returns as opposition leader. Do you feel any spiritual satisfaction?

Berisha : Of course I feel it. I also feel for the one who is 'non grata' in his own country. I feel it, I can't hide it. A man without dignity who could never make such a decision, irresponsible. I believe that American justice will speak for him. If he didn't ask for an agreement like the other one who had made an agreement.
