Investigative Commission, Salianji: The TIMS scandal file will be sent to SPAK

The head of the Investigative Commission for TIMS system data, Ervin Salianji, has stated that the issued report will be taken to SPAK.

"Our report is professional and did not enter into political terms. They will be sent to SPAK. I believe that there are enough facts to start a criminal proceeding" , said Salianji.

In an interview for A2 CNN, Salianji showed that the opposition investigation achieved what he asked for, but also found more than he thought at the start of the work.

"Effectively, there have been two months of parliamentary investigation, as SP MPs have been busy staying in the toilets for two months. In these two months, we have not met our expectations and the public's, with the verification of the interventions in the TIMS system, but we have also passed them because we did not imagine that the manipulation of the TIMS system and the interventions in the TIMS system would be verified and proven." , said Salianji.

According to him, the investigations have revealed interference in several cases in the TIMS data, which he then says were sold to persons registered for various crimes, but when asked about the specific names, he prefers not to speak.

"I don't want to allude, but there are people with fake names who have been discovered by the state police themselves, the SP did not allow us to appoint experts to do the expertise only for TIMS. But the investigation must be deepened within a structured group", said Salianji.

Salianji says that Taulant Balla and Bledi Çuçi are responsible for the actions and inactions committed by the relevant institutions.

"The former minister and the minister are involved, the first as the person who approved the proposals sent by the Police Director, and Mr. Balla with the inaction. What I tell you for sure is that this is an affair that cannot be done by the police leaders alone, it is beyond, it is a great political power", said Salianji.
