Toxic waste, Telitis: International scandal, we are talking about criminal

The Economic Adviser in DP, Dorian Teliti, raised concern after the report of the National Environment Agency on toxic waste published by Syri Tv.

Teliti told Syri Tv that it is scandalous that the number per ton of the exported amount is higher than previously reported.

Teliti : We saw the prime minister who is a master at deflecting the situation and diverting attention from toxic waste. If they are not dangerous, as we are told, why not send them to the prime minister's court.

It is no longer about 800 but about 20 thousand tons of waste of unknown origin, production, storage and transportation outside the Albanian territory.

It is not known what they are and where they are. There is a strict protocol that must be followed for transporting this hazardous waste. They are not chemical fertilizers to irrigate the land, but they are poisons that affect not only the economy but also the health of citizens. It's scandalous.

Reopening the discussion on the import of garbage, a reality where the government lives in another world, they only see their interests. If it makes money, then we accept it. We are facing a scandal of international proportions.

Why are these remains being returned to Albania and why were they not accepted by Thailand?

Today in Albania it has been proven with an official document, how many millions of euros are traded in these wastes, by whom and how?

20 thousand tons of waste, millions of euros coming from the treatment of these wastes that will be cleaned.

Why didn't Rama mention these in the interview, it took 3-4 weeks, what is happening with these ships, where will they be anchored, in which area of the Port of Durrës?

The figure published in the report is 25 times higher, confirmed by the document, and we are talking about a criminal economy of tens of millions of euros, Teliti emphasized.
