Meeting of the Presidency of the DP, Spaho: We discussed the further deepening

DP MP Edmond Spaho spoke after the leadership meeting and showed how the opposition action will continue.

Invited to Syri TV, Spaho said that it was discussed the need to strengthen and further increase contacts with citizens, to identify the main concerns that society has today, so that they become part of the electoral program in the next elections.

He added that in parallel with these, they will also work on further deepening the opposition action as this protest will not be the only one.

" The first issue that was discussed is the unification of the Democratic Party and the opposition.

These actions, which gave the first effect in the protest of February 20, in the growth and spirit of the citizen response, which was reflected in the extremely large number of participants.

There were not only members and sympathizers of the parties, the Democratic Party in the first place but also those of the opposition, there were other citizens, with or without a party, who reflected the difficult economic and social situation of the country, the great need for change and showed that as a whole people are willing to follow this path… until they cause change.

In this context, we discussed the need to strengthen and further increase contacts with citizens, in the city and in the countryside wherever they are, to identify the main concerns that our society has today, so that they become part of the electoral program that we will present in the next elections.

In parallel with this, we will also work on further deepening the opposition action, since this protest will not be the only one, there will be other protests, both at the national and local level." - said Spaho.
