"It does not respond to these", warns Tabaku: The government has plans

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has warned that the government plans to close the institution of the Supreme State Control.

During the speech in the Assembly, she said that the reports of the High State Control give a situation that corruption has turned into a working culture in the administration and does not answer to the government.

" It is unfortunate that for the first time the report of the Supreme State Audit is not discussed in Parliament before the end of this session. It is unfortunate that the government, which is in a position where the reports of the KLSH give a situation that corruption has become a working culture in the administration, try to attack the institution and not deal with their work.

The government's plans are to close the SSC, change the law and turn it into an audit court. What more is needed for the government to continue and attack every independent institution just because it does not respond to them. It was unfortunate that the reporting has returned to this level, the attack has returned to this level and today the Parliament has reduced its power and is today a mass of the majority, and it is reflected at every level and in what we are discussing today, which is corruption.

The report of the Public Procurement Commission seems to have been a report that should not have been read differently from all sides. There are three figures that I should mention, 1.1 billion euros of public procurement, which are the highest in the Western Balkans. Second, 85% of procurements are with the limited fund, third, 90% of procurements are with one bidder, so what is the competition here? Today we have a command economy, a handful of companies that receive tenders.

What did the Public Procurement institution do, what measures did it take? I listened to the head of the institution and he was completely another parallel reality. Today corruption has turned into a work culture, today the tender criteria are changed and defined by the administration, today the concession contract is defined by those who benefit from the tender. Where is the role of Public Procurement here? In what situation is the situation of public procurements today where Public Procurements do not refer to cases of corruption, they are spaces for money laundering, they are the most corrupt sector, why do we need independent institutions when they do not do their job? When they are in line with the government, they do it, when they are in line against it, we must attack and disrupt his work", said Tabaku.
