The Democratic Party appoints the political leader for Kruja and Fushë-Kruja
The Democratic Party has appointed a political leader for the area of Kruja and Fushë-Kruja, two important cities in the Durrës district.
In a document signed by the chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha, it is emphasized that the decision was taken to intensify the political action in this area and to prepare the structures for the parliamentary elections scheduled for 2025.
This move comes a few days after President Bajram Begaj decreed the date of the elections, which will take place on May 11 next year.
The DP has criticized the consultation process for setting the date, calling it a formality dictated by the government. Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku had publicly stated that the elections would be held on May 11, raising questions about the independence of the process.
The Democratic Party aims to increase its presence and influence in these two key cities, while preparing its strategy in the face of the electoral challenges that await it next spring.
