PD appoints Jozefina Topalli as political leader for the diaspora and Tomor Alizoti for Elbasan district
The Democratic Party has appointed Jozefina Topalli as political leader for the diaspora in the upcoming elections of 2025. Topalli, a well-known figure in Albanian politics and former speaker of the Assembly, will lead the PD's efforts to strengthen support among Albanians who live abroad.
Meanwhile, after the arrest of Evin Salianji, by the decision of the mayor Sali Berisha, the Democratic Party has appointed deputy Tomor Alizoti as the political leader for the district of Elbasan. Alizoti will take over the coordination and organization of DP structures in this district, preparing it for the upcoming elections.
These organizational changes come as part of the Democratic Party's new strategy to increase its influence both in the diaspora and within the country, ahead of the 2025 elections.
