According to the report of the Supreme State Audit Office (SSA), serious violations have been identified in the implementation of projects and the use of the budget.

Causing great financial damage to the Gjirokastër municipality.

One of the problematic contracts is the one for the reconstruction of the water supply in the village of Lazarat, for which 171 million lek were spent by the Gjirokastër municipality, where according to the report of the Supreme Audit Office, the companies winning the tender did not carry out the works in accordance with the standard documents for the approved technical project!!

As a result, the Gjirokastra municipality has suffered considerable economic damage of 171 million lek, which has not been addressed or recovered by the mayor, Flamur Golemi.

The ALSAI report emphasizes that, after a detailed audit of the initial project, the basic estimate and the revised estimate, according to field inspections, problems were found in works not carried out according to standards.

The companies BO "B II" shpk, "AK" shpk and "Me" shpk, which were selected for the implementation of the project during 2020-2021, have not fulfilled their obligations under the contract.

 Field verifications have resulted in concrete economic damage of 171 million lek to the Gjirokastër municipality.

This is one of the flagrant abuses of the mayor of Gjirokastra.

Our request is to the relevant justice institutions, which must take urgent measures to prosecute those responsible!
