Salianji: Basha is unwanted, there is no solution for the opposition without

Democratic MP Ervin Salianji said that PD should not remain hostage to formations within the party.

While speaking to ABC News, Salianji also referred to Lulzim Basha, who has appeared active in meetings with citizens, after the defeat on May 14.

Salianji said that there is no place for the former president to come out and talk about good and bad, considering it undesirable. The MP said that the Democrats should sit down to find a way to unite.

"Given that we are not sitting down to discuss, but creating procedures by dealing with technicalities, then the former mayor comes out and says that good is better than bad, he talks about the night and darkness, they are elements that need to be discussed. The solution does not come from this, we must sit down to find the paths towards the union, if it is not done here we will be for other movements to reformat the opposition, we cannot remain hostage to a procedural pretext but neither remain hostage to the faithful in one or another formation within the DP" , said Salianji.

The deputy emphasized that there is no solution in the opposition without including Berisha and his supporters.

"It is certain that on May 14 it was shown that with a new party with a new sign, Berisha had a much better result than the party of the seal, so in these conditions there is no solution in the opposition without including Berisha and his supporters" , said Salianji.
