Diaspora vote, Bardhi, Tabaku and Nallbati meetings in Michigan: DP will have

The Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, and Deputies Bledion Nallbati and Jorida Tabaku, have held meetings with Albanians living and working in the United States of America.

In Michigan, while thanking them for their sacrifice and work in showing the world the true Albania, DP officials called on them to register and vote on May 11. Gazment Bardhi apologized for the lack of attention, while saying that the diaspora today is the main force that decides on the change of Albania.

"You are the main force. Today there are more Albanians living abroad than those living in Albania, and as such, fortunately you are already involved and decide on political life in our country. Therefore, I asked you not to neglect it, I asked you to register and vote en masse in the May 11 elections. Albania needs you and you must be active."

MP Jorida Tabaku said that Albania is at a difficult crossroads.

"We are at a difficult crossroads, both for you here in relation to Albania, and for your families living there. But I believe that, together, with the vote of the diaspora, we can make a difference. Therefore, we should not hesitate! We are not asking for votes in vain, but because we have a clear program, which we are presenting. This program is in the service of meritocracy, a value that you touch every day in the US, but which is missing in Albania"

MP Bledjon Nallbati said that only thanks to the diaspora does the Democratic Party have the chance to make change a reality on May 11th.

"Dear friends! Today you have the future of Albania in your hands. Only thanks to your commitment, thanks to your involvement, the Democratic Party will have the chance to make change a reality. To commit to returning Albania to the tracks of development and integration, by removing a government that has impoverished and incriminated it"
