Diaspora vote, Dule: Ministers monitor technical assistance, it risks turning

The President of the PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, spoke at a media conference about the diaspora vote.

Dule stated that the process will have an added value for the dignity and integrity of the vote. However, Dule also noted his concerns regarding the possibility that the process could become an instrument for turning the vote into electoral corruption.

Dule: I would like to greet those who have started registering with encouraging intensity from the very beginning.

I would like to express my hope that the process will be as dynamic as possible, so that by its conclusion we will have a significant number of immigrants who will express their will for the future parliament and government.

I express the hope that the process will add value to the dignity and integrity of the vote, which are violated in electoral processes that take place with a physical presence within the country.

I cannot ignore the initial concerns regarding the process.

Technical assistance is needed.

There are state structures, the CEC, that can provide this assistance.

Assistance from anyone, including young people, is welcome, but it is a very fragile goal to cross the red line and move from technical assistance to electoral corruption.

We have seen ministers whose posts show how technical assistance organized by parties is being monitored. If this process continues, it risks becoming an instrument for turning votes into objects of electoral corruption.
