Muslim believers around the world celebrate Eid al-Adha today. This morning, near the mosques, prayers were offered by the faithful.

Even in Tirana, in Skënderbej Square, the Muslim believers were numerous in number, where they prayed.

Eid al-Adha is an important holiday for the entire Islamic world. This holiday symbolizes sacrifice and great mercy for getting closer to God.

In honor of this holiday, which is related to the sacrifice made in the name of the prophet Ibrahim, Muslim believers also sacrifice an animal, usually a sheep or a lamb, as a sacrifice and share the meat with the poor and family members.
