The mother of the injured in Korça speaks: The perpetrator was followingIlir Çami, who this Wednesday morning stabbed Manderina Çela near the place called "Triangle" in the city of Korça, has been arrested by the police.

The victim, who is currently in the regional hospital of Korça and is out of danger for life, has been the object of persecution by the author even earlier. According to sources, Çami was previously arrested for stalking Çela in 2022, after seeking the return of an extramarital relationship they had earlier.

Manderina Çela's mother called on the authorities to intervene forcefully, explaining that the perpetrator had been following her daughter constantly, despite the fact that she was married and had three children.

She emphasized that her daughter was afraid to go to Korça, because Chami was following her and harassing her. "Put it in and don't take it out again.

The girl is married, has a husband and children. He was in prison before, but he was released. He followed her, she was afraid to go to the hospital because he threatened her," she told Euronews Albania.
