GJKKO rejects Altin Kodra's request, remains in the special

The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) has rejected the request of convicted person Altin Kodra to be removed from the special regime "41-bis".

Kodra, sentenced to 22 years in prison by the Shkodra Judicial District Court for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder" and "Unauthorized Possession of Combat Weapons", had appealed the Ministry of Justice's decision to place him in this special regime.

After reviewing the case, the panel of judges composed of Judge Bib Ndreca decided to dismiss the request, leaving the high security measure for Kodra in force.

The decision may be appealed to the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime within 15 days from the date of notification.

The "41-bis" regime is a strict measure applied to prisoners involved in criminal groups or terrorist organizations, significantly limiting their communication and activities within the prison.
