The Supreme Court rejects Alma Kaçi's appeal, he remains under house

The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal made by Alma Kaçi to change the security measure "house arrest".

The Special Prosecutor's Office closed the investigations a few days ago and took the case to trial for the charge of active corruption. For the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, SPAK gave the charge of passive corruption.

In the SPAK file, it is stated that at the end of the investigation, evidence and data were obtained from the analysis of which it was found that the defendant Alma Kaçi is the person who offered/gave irregular benefits to the defendant Safet Gjici, acting Mayor Kukës and that the latter, after having benefited from her irregular benefit, in the form of a sexual favor, has promised/agreed to help her with her dog protection project and to present it further at the meeting of the Municipal Council of the Kukës Municipality.
