The Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Department of Criminal Police in DPSHP finalized the police operation coded "Operationalja 8".

Accused by the Spanish authorities of narcotics trafficking, the 28-year-old was caught in Lezha and arrested with the intention of extradition to Spain.

Within the mega-operation "Rule of Law" and as a result of the information provided by the police intelligence, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, during the coded police operation "Operational 8", captured in Shënkoll and provisionally arrested, with the aim of extradition to Spain, the Albanian citizen, declared internationally wanted, Kristo Biba, 28 years old, born in the village of Domgjon, Lezhë.

The Court of Tarragona, Spain, with the decision dated 28.05.2024, assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics", provided by the Criminal Code of Spain.

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Madrid are cooperating to extradite this citizen.
